“The ‘Desperate’ Plight of Egyptian Refugees Trying to Reach Italian Shore”

On August 25, 2013 the Italian newspaper,The Telegraph came out with a article stating that Italy and its people have concerns regarding Italy becoming a refugee site for hundreds of people form Egypt.  The article states the sympathy that the Italians have for the refugee Egyptian’s; although the increasing concern of the climbing numbers of Refugee’s. The article states that “So far this year 1,641 Egyptians have arrived in Italy, up from 836 last year.” This is becoming a serious concern for the people of the Calabrian Coast as 68 refugee’s landed on their beach.
